To ensure timely delivery and collection of post/documentation.


  • Grade 12
  • 3 years’ experience as a Driver/Courier
  • A valid driver’s licence
  • Proven experience working as a Courier/Delivery Driver.
  • Safe and conscientious driving skills.
  • Familiarity with using GPS.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Geographical knowledge and organised route planning skills.
  • Customer service and communication skills.


  • Daily delivery & collection of parcels, packages general post & banking between Bethal, Kinross & Ermelo on Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
  • Travel to Harrismith and Clocolan (Free State ) regularly.
  • Deliver stock to clients.
  • Prevent damage or loss of packages during transit.
  • Obtaining signed receipts and confirmation of each delivery.
  • Collect payments where required.
  • Communicate with the dispatch officer, receiving new delivery instructions, and providing status updates.
  • Maintain accurate paper or virtual records of parcel deliveries.
  • Ensure the vehicle is roadworthy, maintain the vehicle and ensure it is booked for service when needed.
  • Complete the delivery and collection register, vehicle checklist, log sheet and supporting printed documents (slips).
  • Plan routes to optimise efficiency and ensure parcels are delivered on time.
