Requirements : Appropriate qualification that allows registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Medical Officer. Current proof of registration with HPCSA as a Medical Practitioner. A minimum of at least 0 – 10 years’ experience and be prepared to work under pressure and stressful situations. Excellent clinical skills in the assessment and management of common medical conditions and relevant procedures. Good professional attitude, communication skills, and ethics in relation to patient’s referrals and consent to treatment.
Duties : Coordinate and manage clinical care and treatment in outpatient and in-patient clinical responsibilities with after-hours participation in the call roster. Be rotated through different units of the Hospital according to the operational needs of the Hospital.
