Description
Currently we are searching for a Cashier for Johannesburg, South Africa.
Responsibilities of this Post:
- Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing and totalling customers’ purchases.
- Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service.
- Discounts purchases by redeeming coupons.
- Resolves customer issues and answers questions.
- Enters price changes by referring to price sheets and special sale bulletins.
Processes return transactions. - Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers and makes change for cash customers.
- Itemizes and totals purchases by recording prices, departments, taxable and nontaxable items; and operating a cash register.
Requirements of this Post:
- Matric with experience as a cashier.
- Passionate about delivering a world class service to our clients and customers.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Computer literate.
- Strong work ethic and high standards for achievement.
