Gauteng Central Services is looking for a hard-working individual to implement a high standard of cleanliness for our office and premises. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Dusting, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping surfaces in their work area including, bathrooms and kitchens
- Refilling and restocking cleaning supplies (hand wash, toilet paper, paper towels)
- Washing dishes as well as kitchen napkins, floor rags and dusters
- Maintaining cleaning products and ordering new supplies when necessary
- Taking out the garbage and disposing it to the designated areas
- Cleaning Refrigerators, Microwaves, Kettles, watercoolers and all kitchen equipment
- Assist with Ad Hoc duties as and when required
Qualifying experience:
- Matric or equivalent
- Knowledge of acceptable cleaning practices
- Knowledge of standard cleaning chemicals
- Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices
Qualifying attributes:
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to be a team player
- Flexibility and easily adapt to changing environment
- The ability to follow health and safety standards
- Must be Reliable, trustworthy and honest
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Acceptable communication skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Good Time management
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
