KEY FOCUS AREAS – HOUSEKEEPER
- Clean and prepare all guest rooms and maintain the cleanliness of all vacant rooms daily according to guest house standards
- Spring clean guest rooms when required
- Provide a timely and efficient porterage service to guests on arrival and departure as directed by your Guest House Manager
- Perform laundry service according to guest house standards
- Perform ironing service according to guest house standards
- Perform Guest Area Cleaning duties according to guest house standards
- Report all guest complaints to your Guest House Manager immediately
- To attend meetings and training courses as may be necessary
- May be required to assist with any other duties that may be outside the scope of responsibility
REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS – HOUSEKEEPER
- Excellent attention to detail is crucial
- Excellent hygiene principles are crucial
- Guest focus philosophy and always ensure the guest’s comfort at all times
- Good communication skills (written and verbal), practicing honest communication
- Team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, and emotional control
- Excellent time management and self-discipline
- Proactive, use initiative and creative flair when required
- Committed and loyal, adaptable, and flexible
KEY FOCUS AREAS – FOOD SERVICE ASSISTANT
- To ensure that the quality standards of both guest service and operating processes, health and safety standards, and food standards are met at all times
- Assists the Kitchen staff in the preparation of breakfast
- Keeps the serving area well-stocked and clean
- Keeps breakfast tables, kitchen, and main guest area clean and orderly
- To ensure that guest expectations are met within guest house standards
- To ensure a high level of guest service within the area of responsibility
- To report and where possible take action when faced with guest complaints or compliments
- To attend meetings and training courses as may be necessary
- May be required to assist with any other duties that may be outside the scope of responsibility
REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS – FOOD SERVICE ASSISTANT

QUALIFICATIONS – HOUSEKEEPER AND FOOD SERVICE ASSISTANT
- Grade:8-12
- O years experience in a similar role
- Housekeeping / Domestic Cleaning / Culinary qualification would be advantageous
